Apple is focused on innovating high-end and luxury products for the affluent. The company wants to make sure that the products it offers are priced at a premium, so that Apple only sells to consumers who have enough money to afford them.
Apple has always been about making devices that are easy and fun to use, even if they don’t always have all of the bells and whistles other companies offer.
The iPhone XS Max is no exception: It offers a great display, powerful camera system and loads of storage space in exchange for an eye-watering $1,099 price tag.
Google is focused on creating user experiences that span various price points and target demographics.
Google is a technology company that specializes in Internet-related services. Their products include the Android operating system for mobile devices, Google Chrome web browser, and the Gmail email service. The company also owns YouTube and other popular websites with user-generated content such as Blogger or Orkut.
The company was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D candidates at Stanford University. They had designed an early search engine called BackRub that used links between pages to determine their importance on the web instead of just relying on keywords like most existing search engines did at that time - this idea eventually became what we know today as Google Search!

This is why Apple has high margins but Google dominates the market.
Apple has high margins, and Google dominates the market for low-end products.
Apple products are expensive, but they're powerful enough to be worth it. The more money you spend on an Apple laptop or smartphone, the more you get in return: better performance and battery life. If you want a laptop that lasts all day without needing a charge, or if you want to stream video on your phone and not worry about running out of memory halfway through your show, then Apple is your best choice.
But what if all you need is a basic device? What if all you want to do is check email while at work or make calls with friends? Then Google can give you what you need: access to Gmail and Hangouts without having to shell out hundreds of dollars for an iPhone XS Max just so that it can last all day without needing a charge; or access to Android apps on Chrome OS so that there's no need for two separate devices when one will suffice just fine—and cost less than half as much as an iPhone XS Max anyway!
